Best Tubing Locations

Our top-rated tubing spots are located along the beautiful Oak Creek. We have picked 4 of the best locations along Oak Creek to go tubing. These locations are very scenic and easily accessible. Each one is about 1/8 of a mile to 1 mile stretch.

These tubing hot-spots offer swimming holes of fast moving current and deep pools that you can float and play in. All the locations are about a 10 to 30 minute drive from our Boathouse in Sedona. The four top-rated tubing areas are Slide Rock State Park, Grasshopper Point, Red Rock Crossing and Mormon Crossing.

Slide Rock State Park
Slide Rock State Park has hours of fun for the whole family. Slide Rock has natural water slides and pools carved into the red rocks! This is a great tubing spot if you're looking for lots of excitement and great photo opportunities because Slide Rock is also a historical marker. Restrooms/changing areas are available in the parking area. Small entry fee required.

Grasshopper Point
Grasshopper Point is a great tubing spot and is also a great swimming hole with sunny and shady spots for picnics. This section of Oak Creek has a deep slow-current pool and a twenty foot rock cliff face that you can jump off into the deep water. The stream continues downward from this diving area, providing tamer swimming and tubing areas-great for water cannon fights! Restrooms/changing areas are available in the parking area. Small entry fee required.

Red Rock Crossing/
Crescent Moon Ranch Picnic Area
Red Rock Crossing is for tubers who want to have Sedona's most famous red rock formation as their backdrop. One of the most photographed scenes in the southwest is towering Cathedral Rock

reflected in the waters of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing. Red Rock Crossing facilities include picnic tables, cooking grills, restrooms, changing area. Small entry fee required.

Mormon Crossing

Mormon Crossing is located in the Page Springs area of the Verde Valley.

This is a remote area where you are likely to be the only ones on the creek.

This is a combination of hiking and tubing along this rural stretch of Oak Creek.

Mormon Crossing is ideal for tubing groups that want to experience the wildlife of Arizona while having fun in the sun!

Directions and maps will be provided. No entry fee.
